Team Simarco Volunteers with Trust Links Garden Project at Cressing Temple – Supporting Community Mental Health Through Gardening

A fantastic team of volunteers from Team Simarco spent the day at the Trust Links Garden Project at Cressing Temple, near Witham, lending their support to the charity and its members through a range of gardening tasks. 🌳

We couldn’t have asked for a better day, the sun was shining from start to finish! Thankfully, the wonderful charity members kept us cool and hydrated as we got to work planting bedding and plants, tidying old planters and even setting up a gazebo for some much-needed shade.

The highlight of the day was chatting with the charities members and hearing their inspiring stories. It gave us a real appreciation for the amazing work Trust Links does – creating safe, inclusive, and supportive green spaces where adults can connect, grow, and thrive, both mentally and physically. 🌿💚

Some of our team left brimming with ideas and a few are even planning to make their own planters from recycled pallets! ♻️🪵
