Latest news from Simarco………two new acquisitions

Simarco is pleased to announce the recent acquisitions of Formula Goss International Ltd (FGI) and the Heathrow based company Sutch and Searle (Heathrow) Ltd.

In 2014 Simarco expands its’ service with the purchase of a long-established freight business in Stoke. Over the following 3 years the Stoke office has been fully integrated into the Simarco Group to enhance the product and a wider geographical offering to our clients. Following the success of this acquisition Simarco is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of Formula Goss International Ltd (FGI) to further widen the scope of dedicated logistics support that Simarco provides.

FGI concentrates on European road freight through its’ Bedford office, offering a market leading daily service to Italy and Gibraltar, which compliments Simarcos’ current strength in Iberia, France and Germany as well as our domestic logistics offering as one of the largest members of the Palletforce network.

FGI, through its’ offices in Heathrow, also has a significant air and sea freight presence which enhances Simarcos’ ability to provide our clients with a full scope end-to-end logistics solution.

We are also delighted to announce the completion of our recent acquisition of the Heathrow based company Sutch and Searle (Heathrow) Ltd.

Sutch and Searle, have a long and proud history dating back to 1988, and during that time have developed into one of the most well-known, respected and established names on the airport. The company based in Hounslow has a top-quality list of loyal clients built up over many years’ hard work and dedication by Michael Donaghue and his highly skilled and committed team.

This purchase is in line with Simarco’s strategy to significantly grow and develop its Air and Ocean division to complement its high quality European, Domestic and Third Party Logistics services. Simarco, are now offering regular services by air and ocean both to and from the Far East, Middle East and North America.

The company believes that this move, will enable them to offer its clients a truly unique service offering, which covers every aspect of the supply chain through in house services, alongside wholly owned facilities and vehicles.
